My first post
So this is my first post on Tumblr. I don’t really know what I could possibly write about on here - my life is relatively boring. I sell ice cream for money, and that’s pretty cool. There are a number of perks to being an ice cream salesman. I will list some of them here:
1. Free Ice Cream: I get coupons for ice cream every quarter and I can go to the ice cream headquarters and get non-salable damaged ice cream (which isn’t usually damaged beyond a dented package). It is excellent.
2. Tomorrow I am getting $10 Darien Lake tickets. They come with a free food voucher and since Darien Lake tickets are usually like a million dollars and food is about four million dollars this is quite a steep discount.
3. Non-taxable mileage reimbursement. Every week I get a rate per mile check dependant on how far I drive and it is not filed on my 1040 tax form.
4. My girlfriend dates me because I have connections in the ice cream business.
Anyway, it’s pretty awesome. I can say with relative certainty that I have the coolest college student part-time (sometimes full-time) job.
In other news, this week Metal Gear Solid 4 is going to be released. I am super-excited - finally an excuse to buy a PlayStation 3!
I don’t really have anything else to write about on here. My thoughts have been rather boring as of late - my intellectual growth becomes rather stunted during the summer months. All of my thoughts are focused on ice cream and lounging.
